The Works are recruiting for a Permanent Assistant Manager Role.
About The Role
As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to lead and inspire your sales team. You will be passionate about achieving the highest sales and profitability possible in your store, whilst making sure the team work well together and are known by customers for their outstanding customer service.
You will support your Store Manager in identifying and coaching talent within your team, and enjoy working on your own development needs. You will take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the manager and will deliver consistently high store standards and peak productivity. Striving to minimise costs, reduce waste and safeguard stock you will comply with the Company price and promotional changes to ensure the continued success of The Works Stores.
You’ll be excited to keep a well-merchandised store fully stocked with all of our amazing products whilst having a passion for Books, Stationery, Arts & Crafts, and be able to share your enthusiasm with our Customers.
